These factory matched Rail and Stile shaper cutters are perfect for making beautiful door frames in 3/4" to 1-1/4" thick stock. Produced using premium raw materials and manufactured on state-of-the-art C.N.C. machinery, our Rail & Stile shaper sets represent the finest quality on the market. The extra-sharp carbide edges are precision ground on computer controlled equipment to ensure a perfect fit and leave the smoothest finish possible. We offer these Rail and Stile shaper sets in Ogee, Standard, Shaker, Art Deco, and Mission Style Tongue & Groove profiles.
The matched Rail and Stile shaper sets on this page leave an attractive 3/8" wide profile while cutting a full 1/4" tongue and groove joint to accept your raised panel. Using 1/4" plywood for your panel? Our Plywood Panel Conversion Kit (item 83-038) replaces the 1/4" slot cutter in the Stile cutter stack with a 5.5mm slot cutter, and also give you the matching spacer for the Rail cutter stack. The Plywood Panel Conversion Kit works with items 83-030, 83-031, 83-034, and 83-035. Item #83-507 already cuts a 5.5mm Tongue & Groove for Mission Stile cabinet doors.
Use the optional Glass Door Cutter (item 83-037) to make beautiful glass panel doors by rabbeting the back of the door frame in one easy operation. The Glass Door Cutter replaces the slot cutter and trimming cutting on the Stile profile.

Great cutter but should include shims.
Great set of cutters for the price. very sharp and time will tell how long they stay sharp. I have a few cabinet door sets of cutters with 1/2" shank and they seem to have lasted a long time with lots of daily use. I will say though I wish this set of cutters came with shims as setting up the coping head leaded the tenon side to be a few thousandths small and not usable out the box until I shimmed it to fit tight.
