The great product removes resin, gum and pitch from saw blades, drill bits, tool tops, etc. Spray on, wait 60-90 seconds and wipe off.

Rust Remover - Rust, Corrosion and Stain Remover (item #101-424)

For light rust on steel or cast iron, spray RustFree™ on a rag and wipe surface. Do not spray directly on surface, as it may cause spotting. For heavy rust, apply RustFree™ thoroughly wetting surface, allow to penetrate for 30 seconds, then scrub with Scotch-Brite pad before wiping off. Use Boeshield T-9® after cleaning with RustFree to protect bare metal surfaces.

Start the cleaning process by first knocking down any flaking or loose rust from the surface with a rag or light sanding. Then liberally apply Rust Free to the surface, working in sections, rather than trying to tackle the whole surface at once.

An abrasive pad, #0000 steel wool, or other gentle abrasive is next used to work the damaged areas to remove the surface rust and corrosion. If the damage is deep, you may need to repeat this step.
