A Small Jig For Big Box Joints!

Infinity Tool's new portable box joint jig has been designed to cut extra-large fingers for precise joinery when making larger boxes or furniture. Standard box joint jigs are limited to making fingers less than 1” wide but this new jig allows you to go up to 1-9/16” wide. These beautiful, full-size fingers are perfect for making Chest of Drawers, Arts & Crafts style furniture building or anytime a beefy looking finger joint is called for.

This portable box joint jig cuts any size finger between 1/2" to 1-9/16" wide in stock up to 2" thick with a minimum 1/2" joint depth. The jig clamps to your workpiece and is moved the entire length of your board, allowing you to use any width stock.

Includes both stationary and adjustable aluminum stops which are infinitely adjustable between 1/2" to 1-9/16" wide joints, minimum 1/2" deep. These index the jig accurately for each cut and prevent side-to-side jig movement. Also includes a two-piece set of replaceable MDF Sub-fences, a 12" Ultra Track aluminum fence and two built-in clamps. For fast and easy set-up, the package includes five quick blocks for 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4" & 1-1/2" joints.

Any 1/2" shank x ½” diameter straight router bit will work (not supplied) but for best results, we recommend any one (or all three) of our solid carbide spiral upcut bits below. The jig also requires a 3/4" Porter Cable style bushing which we include in our package. You'll need to supply a 6" clamp for use when making the first and last few cuts that are out of range of the built-in clamps.

Features Include:

  • 3/4" PC style bushing required and included in our package!
  • Makes accurate fingers from 5/8” to 1-9/16” wide
  • Works with any length board
  • Use with your handheld router or at the router table
  • Clamps to the workpiece and slides the entire length of your stock
  • Includes stationary and adjustable aluminum stops
