The Gorilla Gripper is a unique tool that allows one person to lift and carry heavy sheet goods (such as plywood, drywall, particleboard, melamine, tempered glass and granite) from the top, with much less strain and greatly reduced risk of injury to the back, neck, shoulders, arms & hands. It is continuously self-adjusting - the GOR-001 works on stock from 3/8" to 1-1/8" thick and the GOR-002 works on stock from 1-1/4" to 2" thick.
Rubber gripping pads mounted on both plates protect the surfaces of the materials from being damaged or marred. Maximum grip and lift leverage comes from its T6 aluminum gripper plates and special rubber pads. Secures sheet goods for enhanced control and makes those material seem much lighter and absolutely easier to lift. The heavier the material the stronger it g rips. No bending, torquing or straining your back. No obstructed view as when lifting sheet goods over your head. Grip from the top, lift and carry, it's that easy!
