This kit works with any router baseplate that accepts Porter-Cable-style template guide bushings to ensure that the baseplate is centered on the router. This is critical for accurate routing when using your router in a hand-held application. Comes with a 1/4"-dia. steel pin that chucks into your router's collet. The plastic centering disk fits over the steel pin and into the center hole in your router baseplate. With the baseplate centered, you can tighten the mounting screws which will ensure a perfectly centered router bit.
