Set The Workshop On Fire With An Infinity Z.C.I. for DeWalt 10" and 12" Miter Saws

Infinity Cutting Tools is very proud to introduce our Zero Clearance Insert Plate for DeWalt 10" and 12" miter saws. All the benefits of zero clearance cutting that you have come to love in your table saw are now available at your non-sliding compound miter saw station.

The original DeWalt throat plate is made of flexible plastic and has a wide throat opening, which can cause kickback, high speed chipping, and tear out on your wood. When you choose to upgrade to an Infinity Zero Clearance Insert, you're creating a one-of-a-kind fit for your blade. The first time you use it, your saw cuts a throat that is exactly as wide as your blade's teeth need in order to pass through the phenolic insert and not a hair more. The result is a finished edge on your workpiece that is free of shredded end grain.

Our inserts are also easily replaceable, so if you have multiple saw blades for your miter saw, each of them will get the benefit of a zero clearance throat opening. All this means that the underside of your wood won't blow out; thin pieces of waste won't fall into the throat and get wedged in dangerous positions; and your DeWalt miter saw will finally perform exactly the way a great machine should.

This Z.C.I. Insert Plate fits the following non-sliding compound miter saws:

  • Dewalt 10" Models: 703, 713
  • DeWalt 12" Models: 704, 705, 706, 715, 716
  • Black and Decker Models: 3660, 3680

Features Include:

Uses in your shop:

  • Make finished cuts on your non-sliding DeWalt 10" or 12" compound miter saw
  • Prevent injury from mitersaw kickback, chipping, and throat wedging

Great Upgrade

This insert is a great upgrade for the miter saw. I’ve been cutting some 8/4 white oak for some chairs and have been getting zero tear out. The cut line on the insert also makes it handy to line up to the cut line.

Howdy. I have your carbide planer knives in my Dewalt 735 planer and think they're great. However, I've just discovered a nick in one of the blades. I know you regularly sell them in sets of 3, but is there any way to buy just one replacement blade? I hate to spend $200 for 3 when I only need one. See more »

Unfortunately not. We only sell them in full sets.

The Infinity Tools Diamond Knife Hone for HSS & Carbide Planer & Jointer Knives is a versatile knife honer designed to accommodate a wide range of machines. While it serves as an excellent planer knife sharpener, it may not fit all models. For compatibility, please refer to the product images to ensure your machine has the required space to accommodate the diamond knife hone effectively.

Is there an easy way to tell the 400 grit side from the 600 grit side on the dkh-002? Thanks See more »

The 400 grit is the bar set in a diamond configuration. The 600 grit is the bar that is set flat into the handle.

Can I use this on the Dewalt 735 planer? Will I need to do any adjustments afterwards? See more »

We do not recommend the DKH-001 for use on planers like the Dewalt DW735 because they do not have traditional cutterheads and the knives can't be adjusted.

Can this tool be used to sharpen blades for a Makita 2012 planer? See more »

We recommend the Diamond Knife Hone for machines with a traditional round cutter heads. Portable Planers like your typically use disposable knives and it is not recommended that these knives be resharpened as they are not height adjustable.
