Make Custom Serving Trays Of Lasting Distinction!
Make beautiful serving trays with your router and our tray templates. These make great gifts any time of the year. Use the templates to make chip & dip, cheese & cracker, and candy trays. By gluing-up your scrap stock (2" thick seems to work best) and using different species of wood you can make truly beautiful serving trays. There are six templates included in this kit but four of them can be used to make multiple shapes. You could even mix and match templates "B" & "C" and also templates "E" & "F". In fact, with some imagination you can make more than a dozen different serving trays with these six templates!
The 1/2"-thick MDF templates are CNC machined and drilled with countersink mounting holes. This kit includes our CNC-machined router collet extension to give you more than 2" of additional reach. The collet extension works with all of your 1/2" shank router bits. We recommend using our 12" x 12" large router base (115-032) for extra support when routing the trays. We also carry natural, FDA-approved, food-safe finishes which really make your trays stand out. Detailed step-by-step instructions included.
