Knife

Designed to fit on Infinity Tools Insert-Pro Extended Tenon shaper heads, these knives are made from a C4 sub-micron grade of carbide that will last longer and outperform any brazed carbide cutters on the market. You will love the razor-sharp edges and precision-ground mirror finish. The quality of cut they produce is superb and sharpening is very simple. We offer five (5) popular door making profiles to give your Door Making System maximum versatility. These profiles allow you to cut mating cope ends when using our Interior / Exterior Door Making System.

Please note: Two (2) replaceable Insert-Pro knives are required per head, each sold individually.

I purchased the 6' Dadonator Jr expecting it to perform as described in Infinity Cutting Tools catalog. For the most part it performed as expected. Issues with the actual dado width produced by the blade were not what I was expecting, dado width was close to 1/64' oversized. Customer support experience was not a pleasant one. After many back and forth emails to convince Infinity that I was properly installing and using the blade they agreed to returning the blade for diagnosis at their facility.Three aggravating weeks later Infinity agreed that the blade was not within their specifications and offered to return the blade or give a refund. I chose the refund. During this entire process I got the distinct impression that Infinity Cutting Tools was convinced that their product was not the problem but rather it was something I was doing wrong ,in the end Infinity begrudgingly agreed that the fault was the Dado blade and not user error. Will I buy other Infinity Cutting tools in the future? Yes I most likely will. Nothing is perfect, mistakes happen and I try to be a gracious person.

I was wanting a dado blade that didn’t leave “bat ear” undecuts at the outside edges of the dado groove

This may be a stupid question... But in one video I got the impression it had a 1/2"ùshank that could be used in regular router tables...? I'm wrong correct? Shapers only not router tables? See more »

The Insert Pro Raised Panel Shaper Cutter is for use in Spindle Shapers/Moulders only. It is definitely no for use in router tables. This is a 1-1/4" bore cutter and required a 1-1/4" spindle or a pair of T-bushings to reduce down to smaller spindle sizes
