If you own a fixed speed router then consider purchasing this router speed control. Bits larger than 1" in diameter need to spin slower due to their mass. With our router speed control you can adjust router speed from full to zero without loosing torque. This extra control allows you to have less tear-out, stops burning and allows you to feed your stock at a comfortable rate.

Features a three position speed switch with variable-off-full settings. Comes with six foot power cord and handy clip on the back side. Please note: Not for use with soft start motors. Use only with routers that feature a brush style motor no greater than 3-1/4" H.P. or 115 volts/ 15 AMPS.

Amazing Addition to Shop

This 15 amp Router Speed Control transformed my router table experience. I no longer have to switch out routers on my router table every time I need a slower rpm rate for my bit selection. Wish I had this product years ago. Works fabulously.

Need for speed, except Full On.

Will not start my Bosh 1617EVS on any setting except full on. Turn from full on the router stops running. Could be result of the paddle safety switch on the router table. Compact fits great under the table next to the paddle safety switch

As long as the router is not a soft start motor the router speed controller should work for you just fine. Run time should not be an issue.

As long as your grinder does not have a soft start feature I don't see why it wouldn't work.
