Adjustable Mouth for Micro-Thin Shavings!
Why You Need Rabbet Hand Planes Hand Planes Overview
The Rabbet Plane is a narrow plane used for perfecting grooves, rabbets, moldings and doors or window frames.
The 30mm-wide (1.2") blade is inserted near the center of the body at an angle of 45° to the planed surface, and the blade covers the entire width of the plane. The chipbreaker breaks chips from the planed material and removes them away from the planed surface.
The Rabbet Plane has an adjustable front sole for controlling the width of the mouth opening. Made of European beech hardwood with a long-wearing hornbeam sole, these planes are ready for a lifetime of use.
Our premium wood body planes now feature a Norris style adjustment mechanism that makes them very easy to use. This traditional adjustment mechanism allows the depth of cut to be adjusted by turning the brass knob. Pressing the knob right or left will adjust the skew of the iron in the plane body. The Wedge also features a brass tensioning screw with thumb knob that makes securing the iron a snap and improves tension near the end of the wedge where it matters most.
Blade may require initial flattening of the back and honing before use.
255 x 30 x 155mm (10" x 1.2" x 6.1"). Made for us by a European company that has been making hand tools for over 100 years.

Great selection and value of your products.
Thank you for the feedback, Slavko! We’re glad to hear you had such a positive shopping experience. We hope to see you back soon!
I wasn’t aware that I needed a certain set up to use on your in lay patterns. It made a world of difference.
I purchased the 6' Dadonator Jr expecting it to perform as described in Infinity Cutting Tools catalog. For the most part it performed as expected. Issues with the actual dado width produced by the blade were not what I was expecting, dado width was close to 1/64' oversized. Customer support experience was not a pleasant one. After many back and forth emails to convince Infinity that I was properly installing and using the blade they agreed to returning the blade for diagnosis at their facility.Three aggravating weeks later Infinity agreed that the blade was not within their specifications and offered to return the blade or give a refund. I chose the refund. During this entire process I got the distinct impression that Infinity Cutting Tools was convinced that their product was not the problem but rather it was something I was doing wrong ,in the end Infinity begrudgingly agreed that the fault was the Dado blade and not user error. Will I buy other Infinity Cutting tools in the future? Yes I most likely will. Nothing is perfect, mistakes happen and I try to be a gracious person.
Customer ServiceI was wanting a dado blade that didn’t leave “bat ear” undecuts at the outside edges of the dado groove
My overall experience has been very positive.
