This Planer & Jointer Knife-setting jig makes it easy to install and set planer and jointer knives quickly and accurately. The jig uses powerful magnets to hold planer or jointer knives in perfect position, freeing-up both hands while you tighten the gib nuts. Our Planer & Jointer Knife jig also allows you to shift nicked knives while maintaining accuracy to within +/- .002" across the length of your knife. Sets knives from 4" to 24" long on any conventional cutter head that measures 2.5" - 5" in diameter. Works with carbide and high-speed steel (HSS) knives. A great investment that will extend the life of your knives and improve the quality of cut.

Great purchase
Simple, easy to use, and perfect alignment on my 15” planer. I had no experience changing blades, these jig set made it a no brainer- but read the instructions before doing anything to the planer! If you’re happy with your current blade setting, it’s easy to use them to set the jigs for the new set.

It will work in a standard miter slot that is 3/4" x 3/8"
The Thin Rip Guide Adjusts from 1-13/16" away from your miter track to 5-13/16" away from your miter track. So depending on the distance between the miter track and your saw will determine how thin of a cut you can preform.
It will fit any 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep miter slot.
This item is not designed to be modified
Unfortunately it will not work with that specific saw.
It will work with your machine as long as it has a 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep miter slot.
Yes, the Thin Rip Guide has a xxxx on top that locks both the projection of the guide in relation to the blade as well as the location in the miter slot. We also have a video above in the "Video" tab that shows how the Thin Rip Guide works.
