Narex Rotary Rasps are hand stitched and designed to use in corded or cordless drills and are available in 10 different profiles to cover a wide variety of rotary carving and shaping needs.

If you want to combine the benefits of traditional hand stitched rasps with the speed of power tools these rotary rasps are what you’ve been waiting for. Designed for use in wood these rotary rasps are fast cutting and leave a smooth finish compared to a machine cut rasp. They are available individually or in a complete 10 piece set. Measuring roughly 2-1/2” overall with a 6mm (15/64") diameter shank these will fit most corded and cordless drills. Each rasp features roughly 60 teeth per square centimeter.

Hand stitching is a labor-intensive process where each tooth is formed one at a time by a skilled craftsman using nothing more than a hammer and small chisel-like tool to form the size and number of teeth, and tooth pattern on each rotary rasp. It is this human touch that makes these tools such a joy to use.
