The Shape-Up Lock Miter cutter works with stock from 1/2" to 1" thick.

It has a 3/4" bore for mounting on a standard shaper spindle.

Make the first cut with the stock flat on the shaper table, then make the second cut with the face against the fence. The two interlocking profiles register together for a tight corner.

Yes. For a flat glue-up, run one piece face down and the mating piece face up so the profiles interlock edge to edge.

The cutter is 3-3/4" in diameter with a 1" cutter height.

It uses extra-thick micrograin carbide that supports multiple sharpenings, plus a silver anti-stick coating that resists pitch and resin buildup. Find sharpening supplies in our sharpening supplies.

The interlocking profile dramatically increases the glue surface area and mechanically aligns the parts, producing a corner that is much stronger than a plain 45° miter.
