Very good value!

I am a cheapskate. I make my own tools, buy ancient 50-60 year old tools, refurb them, that kind of cheapskate. The JessEm Rout-R-Lift II finally caught my eye because of the lower cost and great reviews I've seen. It is fantastic. Plus, I managed to fit it into an existing router table. (Cheep!) This lift is built so very well! I am quite impressed. I am starting to make dining room chairs and this will be my main template follower router. I may even buy another one if it makes sense to my cheapskate brain. Very impressed.

Just what I needed.

I was looking for a router lift to replace a DIY version that I made years ago. This model was a good balance between features, performance, and price. I am just a hobby woodworker, so I am confident that it will serve me well for a long time. The operation is very smooth and true (no wobble like my DIY version had). My only complaint is that the dial around the height adjustment should be easy to "zero" out so you can make precision adjustments even faster.

Excellent tool. No need to spend more.

This lift just plain works. As long as you have a 3 1/2" router body (or get the model that works for your router) I really don't see any reason to buy a more complex lift.

Will your router lift JessEm Rout-R-Lift ll accept a Porter Cable 1001 router? See more »

Porter-Cable part number 1001 is for the router base itself for a PC -690 router. If you have a PC-690, the motor housing should measures 3-1/2" in diameter. It should fit nicely in the Jessem Route-R-Lift.

Hi - Will JessEm Rout-R-Lift II fit in Kreg PRS2100? Thanks See more »
5 years ago
The opening in your router table needs to measure 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" for the Route R Lift to fit correctly. You will need to measure your table to confirm proper fitment.

Yes, the Porter Cable 892 is part of the 890 series of routers. The main difference is the base that is included, the router motor that will be mounted in the lift is the same.

Currently we only carry the Route- R-Lift in 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" we do carry the Mast -R-Lift in the smaller size https://www.infinitytools.com/jessem-...

Will this fit the rockleer router table without modification See more »
6 years ago
Most rocker tables require a 8-1/4" x 11-3/4" plate opening. If that is the case for your table, this lift will not work for you. I would recommend looking at the Mast-R-Lift RTL-002 https://www.infinitytools.com/jessem-... Also confirm the opening size of your table.

what diameter router motor will fit into this lift? Is there a lift available for a 4.2" diameter router motor? See more »
5 years ago
The Route-R-Lift is designed to work with routers from roughly 3.2" to 3.625" in diameter (most 1-3/4 hp and 2-1/4 hp motors) For a 4.2" diameter router you would need to look at the Mast-R-Lift.

Will this fit a Bosch MRF23EVS? See more »

I don't believe so, your specific bosch router has a power switch in the router bases handle, I don't believe the router motor can be used without the base itself.
