Our new replaceable Zero Clearance inserts (sold 4 per pack) for your modular SawStop table saw throat plate can be replaced as often as needed.  Just remove the throat plate, slide out the old insert and slide in a new one. The inserts are made from coated MDF and are designed to be used with or without your riving knife for both single-blade and dado cuts.  They're custom CNC milled to exactly fit the modular throat plate and slide right in every time.

If you use several common dado widths you can now have a ZCI custom to each unique size.  You can trade back and forth between thin kerf to full kerf blades and still have the advantage of true zero clearances with each.  There's no reason to live with overly wide blade slots.
