Professional Results Every Time!

Flush-trimming is one of the most common operations for a router in the workshop. Our solid-carbide, spiral router bits are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances from C4 micrograin carbide. These flush-trim spiral router bits start out sharper and stay sharp longer than conventional flush-trim router bits.

Both Spiral router bits on this page feature a 1/4" Shank x 1/4" Cutter Diameter x 1" Cutter Length.

Assembled using two high quality bearings, this guide system provides plenty of surface to engage a template or pattern. With two flutes for maximum cutting efficiency and a glass-smooth finish, choose the downcut bit for the cleanest cut on the bottom side of your workpiece or choose the upcut bit for the smoothest surface on the top side of your workpiece.

Hot knife through warm butter!

Bought this for following/trimming around acrylic templates because the straight pattern bit I had was simply not getting it done even though it had barely been used & was brand new (2months old). This thing cuts super smoothly and FAST! Will be picking up another to have on hand.

The customer service of this company is poor to say it nicely. I spend over $300.00 with them on a first time order. A small bowl bit I purchased broke on the first use on soft knot free wood and upon trying to solve the issue and several weeks they said it's not covered under warranty.

I'm looking for a flush trim router bit with the bearing in middle so I can trim the top and bottom laminate with one pass does this exist? See more »

No, not that we have ever seen, It definitely would not be something available in solid carbide

Can you tell me where are your router bits made, particularly these spiral bits? See more »

All Infinity router bits are designed and engineered in Oldsmar Florida. Our bits are manufactures in the USA, Italy, and Taiwan.

How do your bits perform with 0.060" aluminum? We are looking for 1/2" shank 1/2" cutter with a 5/8" bearing See more »

As long as you follow proper feed and speed rates they will work very well. Not recommend to freehand route aluminum.

I have your 06-694 pattern mega-bit, but hope to pattern cut two 5/4 hard maple pieces that will be glazed together (leg blank) 5/4. Will this 2" bit (or the mega 2" bit) accommodate the combined material thickness. If so, which do you recommend for this project? See more »
5 years ago
Assuming that your combine thickness will remain over 2" you would still be able to use the 2" Mega Flush Trim but you would need to remove the top or bottom bearing, make an initial pass. Then raise the bit the remainder and make a second pass with the bearing riding on the surface created by the first pass. I hope that makes sense. depending on your total thickness, you may be able to use this method with the 1-1/4" tall mega flush trim bit you currently have.

I'd like to use this to cut thick stock so I like the OAL of this bit. What is the minimum amount of the shaft that needs to be in the collet? And if I creep up on the thickness of the stock, will the shaft be proud of the cutting edge? See more »
4 years ago
Especially for longer bits, we recommend you have as much shank inserted into the collet as possible without letting the shank bottom out. All solid carbide router bits will have a cutting diameter very slightly smaller than the shank due to the way they are made.

Hi. I am looking for a spiral up-cut router bit (with bearing) suitable to finish the edges of 40mm thick white oak. Do you have something that will work? See more »

Have a look at our part number 85-923. It is an upcut flush-trim bit with a 1/2" shank and 2" (50mm) cutting height, it might do the trick.

I am searching for a pattern bit that has a cutter head of 3/8" diameter or less and the guide bearing of the same diameter preferably on the top of the cutting head, not on the bottom like the 85-120. Do you have another bit that better fits what I am looking for? See more »
6 years ago
No, typically 1/2" diameter is the smallest possible for a top bearing bit. We do not have any top bearing bits available in solid carbide.

Can spiral flush trim bits be sharpened ? For that matter, can any bearing pilot, flush trim bit be sharpened? See more »
6 years ago
Typically spiral bits are not resharpened. While physically possible it is typically not cost effective. Also with flush trimming bits sharpening will cause the diameter to shrink and no longer match the guide bearing.

Do you sell a spiral up cut flush trim router bit that could have the bearing size changed out for different purposes. See more »

unfortunately, no. It is typically not recommended or possible to exchange the bearings on solid carbide router bits.
