61-504 - V-Tongue and Groove Router Bit Set

Unlike most square profile tongue and groove router bits, our matched V-Tongue & Groove set produces an elegant 45° "V" groove in stock from 5/8" to 7/8" thick. This type of joint is ideal for custom flooring, wainscot paneling, cabinet backs, and even Shaker-style cabinet doors. Both router bits feature bearing guides that will make setting-up and running quick and easy. Features a 1/4" thick tongue and groove joint.

61-509 - Tongue and Groove Flooring Router Bit Set

This matched Flooring Router Bit Set is great for making hardwood flooring with stock up to 1-1/8" thick. The tongue cutter features a 1/2° angle which produces a slight gap at the bottom of the joint to ensure a tight-fitting joint. The tongue and groove cuts are also approximately 1/16" offset to allow room for expansion.

For working with stock up to 3/4" thick, the tongue cutter on this router bit set features a special nail slot profile for professional results. The rounded profile at the bottom of the joint prevents debris on the floor from getting in the way of a nice tight fit. Both bits feature a high quality bearing for ease of setup while the tongue and groove cuts are approximately 1/16" offset to allow room for expansion.

This set also includes a Complimentary Setup Block (SET-511) for use with 3/4" material to help you set the proper bit height.
