Izzi Skirt Washers make it easy to attach table tops to table bases. Simply drill a 9/16” hole with a forstner bit centered at 3/16” from the edge of the skirt. Attach the Izzi Skirt Washer with a #8 flat head screw (not included). Then use a #8 Pan head screw through the slotted portion to secure the table top. The 5/8” long slot allows the tabletop to expand and contract with seasonal moisture changes eliminating the chance of splitting due to cross grain conflict between the top and base. Izzi Skirt Washers are a perfect solution for attaching a plank to any type of furniture including tables and cabinetry.

Excellent option to attaching top to table with modified figure 8 type anchors. This is the 3rd time I have ordered and used this product.
