Grit

This DMT DuoSharp diamond stone features an innovative and patented double matrix with extra coarse grit diamond on one side and coarse on the other. This two-stage sharpening system provides fast, clean and consistent results every time. Only use water to lubricate this stone, the non-porous surface resists loading and quickly wipes clean. DMT Diamond stones start flat and stay flat, they never hollow or develop grooves like Waterstones. This is a shop favorite for grinding the cutting edges of chisels and plane irons but it can also be used for sharpening your router bits, kitchen knives or practically any steel or carbide tool. Unlike electric grinders that can overheat your tools' edge, DMT Diamond Stones won't damage your tool. This stone can also be used to flatten your softer Norton Waterstones. Of course, the other advantage of diamond stones is that they dont need to be flattened like waterstones.
