An Accurate and Reliable Setup Tool Built to Meet Your Needs

A reliable straight edge is useful for many tasks in the modern shop. The 46” length of our anodized aluminum straight edge is extremely useful for setting up machines, making sure your jointer and planer tables are parallel, and It's perfect for checking your table saw for flatness. Great for setting up router tables and fences, and the length is again ideal for aligning bandsaw wheels. When not in use for machinery set up it also serves as a precision layout tool.

Our anodized aluminum straightedge will not rust and weighs in at 1.75 lbs. The straight edge measures 5/16" thick (able to easily stand without support) and 1-7/8" high. The reference edge is machined flat to within 0.003" over the entire length (+/- .001”). When not in use, a hang hole is provided so the straight edge can be hung out of the way, but within easy reach.

The straight edge is sold without rules (PSE-100), but a 1/4"-wide channel is machined on both faces of the tool near the reference edge. You can put two different rules on, two matching rules, or no rules. The choice is up to you! We offer a choice of three adhesive-backed rules: Fractional (PSE-R01), Metric (PSE-R02) and Center-finding (PSE-R03) for you to customize your straight edge to best meet your needs. Mix and match to make it your own!

Handy within easy reach, and ready to go to work when you are.
