It's not unfair to say that sanding has long been one of the least enjoyable parts of the woodworking process. It is extremely fair to say that Mirka's DEROS sander will change that way of thinking with its light weight and dust-free operation. Designed to work perfectly with the Mirka Abranet Abrasive Discs or any standard 5”/5 hole or 6”/6 hole (choose size below) hook and look sanding disks, you'll enjoy a cleaner work surface, a healthier shop atmosphere, and a faster, higher quality sanding process overall. The secret to this dustless functionality is the central air inlet which creates even suction across the entire pad surface.
Weighing only 2.3 pounds, the Direct Electric Random Orbit Sander is not only one of the smoothest operating sanders we've ever used, it's also one of the quietest thanks to its revolutionary brushless motor design. By engineering a handheld unit with a built-in power converter, Mirka has created a sander that is easy to control without sacrificing power. The DEROS performs comparably to a 500W electric machine in a 400W DC package, so it's able to maintain a constant speed, even under a heavy workload. With a large 3/16" orbit, the user has a wide oscillation area that reduces the appearance of pattern far better than other random orbit sanders. The Deros provides the ergonomics and feel of an air powered sander is a quieter package that does not require a giant air compressor to run.
The DEROS is available in both 5” and 6” models. Both comes packages in a high quality (sustainer) storage case to keep the sander and accessories organized and is compatible with the other green storage boxes you may have. I purchased the 6' Dadonator Jr expecting it to perform as described in Infinity Cutting Tools catalog. For the most part it performed as expected. Issues with the actual dado width produced by the blade were not what I was expecting, dado width was close to 1/64' oversized. Customer support experience was not a pleasant one. After many back and forth emails to convince Infinity that I was properly installing and using the blade they agreed to returning the blade for diagnosis at their facility.Three aggravating weeks later Infinity agreed that the blade was not within their specifications and offered to return the blade or give a refund. I chose the refund. During this entire process I got the distinct impression that Infinity Cutting Tools was convinced that their product was not the problem but rather it was something I was doing wrong ,in the end Infinity begrudgingly agreed that the fault was the Dado blade and not user error. Will I buy other Infinity Cutting tools in the future? Yes I most likely will. Nothing is perfect, mistakes happen and I try to be a gracious person.

We do not recommend the Miter 5000 for use on Jobsite saws, the tables are too small and in our opinion do not provide enough support for the sled.
No alterations to the saw or sled are required. Setup and use will be the same as with any other tablesaw. We use the Miter 5000 on the Sawstop PCS in our shop all the time and it works great.

The INCRA Miter 5000 is specifically engineered as a crosscut sled, and is not intended for operations like bevel and dado cuts. After cutting through, it loses its zero clearance functionality. Instead, consider our Infinity Professional Cross-cut sled ( TCS-200 ). It has replaceable inserts, allowing for bevel and dado cuts while still maintaining zero clearance functionality.
