Reason this customer chose these products

I wasn’t aware that I needed a certain set up to use on your in lay patterns. It made a world of difference.

I purchased the 6' Dadonator Jr expecting it to perform as described in Infinity Cutting Tools catalog. For the most part it performed as expected. Issues with the actual dado width produced by the blade were not what I was expecting, dado width was close to 1/64' oversized. Customer support experience was not a pleasant one. After many back and forth emails to convince Infinity that I was properly installing and using the blade they agreed to returning the blade for diagnosis at their facility.Three aggravating weeks later Infinity agreed that the blade was not within their specifications and offered to return the blade or give a refund. I chose the refund. During this entire process I got the distinct impression that Infinity Cutting Tools was convinced that their product was not the problem but rather it was something I was doing wrong ,in the end Infinity begrudgingly agreed that the fault was the Dado blade and not user error. Will I buy other Infinity Cutting tools in the future? Yes I most likely will. Nothing is perfect, mistakes happen and I try to be a gracious person.

I was wanting a dado blade that didn’t leave “bat ear” undecuts at the outside edges of the dado groove

I purchased your Jr. sash set. At the end of the video for the standard sash set, it says stay tuned for the differences when using the Jr. sash set. However, the video just ends without explaining the difference. What's up? What are the differences? See more »

We made a separate video for the window sash Jr. set. 55-802. You should be able to watch it by clicking the second red play button in the photo slider above or you can watch it in YouTube by following this link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_co...

My stock thickness for window sashes is 1 3/4". What sash router bit would you recommend? See more »
5 years ago
Our window sash sets are designed to work with stock ranging in thickness of 1-1/8" - 1-1/4" or 1-3/8" - 1-9/16". We do not have a sash set specifically for 1-3/4" stock. The large window sash set can be used in stock thicker than 1-9/16" but you will have to remove the material that remains above the slot cutter to finish the rabbet for the glass, this rabbet will also be deeper which can be an advantage if using insulated glass units.

Do you have a detailed drawing of your 55-801 Window sash router bit? I'm trying to match the 100 year old windows in my house and yours look like it might work. I can accept any type of file, including CAD (dfx or similar). Thanks. Also can the bearing be changed to a thicker one? My existing window tenons are 7/16" thick. See more »

Unfortunately no, we do not have a measured drawing available for these bits currently. If you would like to send us an email to Customerservice@infinitytools.com with pictures and measurements of the sash you are trying to recreate we would be happy to help if we can. The bearing on this set cannot be interchanged .

In the video for the junior set, the guy never says how thick the stock is that he using. Therefore I can determine what thickness the tenon should be. Does this set call for a 1/4" thick tenon like the bigger bit set? See more »
6 years ago
In the video we talk about how much material to remove when making the rough cuts to expose the tenon, in a 1-1/8" thick sash these measurements would result in a 1/4" thick tenon, in a 1-1/4" sash the same measurements would result in a 3/8" thick tenon. This method of construction allows the tenon thickness to be adjusted to whatever thickness you want because you do not need to keep the tenon housed in a specific location.

Item 55-801: I already have this set and the smaller one as well. but I am looking for something bigger. The window sash is 2 inches thick. the Profile on the face side is 1" tall and 1" wide plus the rabbit cut out for the glass. each sash is 4 foot by 4 foot. Total window height is 8 feet. Do you have a bit set to do this job. If not do you know where I can get such a set. See more »
