It is a flush-trim router bit with a spiral cutting edge rather than straight flutes. The spiral shears the wood for a cleaner, quieter cut while a bearing guides it along a template or pattern.

It has a 1/4" shank with a 1/4" cutter diameter and 1" cutter length, suited to compact and full-size routers that accept a 1/4" collet.

Choose the downcut bit for the cleanest cut on the bottom side of your workpiece, or the upcut bit for the smoothest surface on the top side.

The bearing diameter is 1/4", matching the cutter diameter so the bit trims flush to the template. The bit has a 3" overall length.

They are manufactured to extremely tight tolerances from solid C4 micrograin carbide, so they start out sharper and stay sharp longer than conventional flush-trim bits.

They have two flutes for maximum cutting efficiency and a glass-smooth finish on the cut edge.
