Magswitch

Magswitch tools use permanent magnets arranged so that rotating a knob aligns or cancels the magnetic field. When the knob is turned on, the full magnetic force engages the ferrous table surface — when turned off, the internal magnets counter each other and the tool releases. No power is required.

Magswitch products require a ferrous (iron or steel) table surface to mount. They work on cast iron table saw tops, router table tops, band saw tables, and jointer tables. They will not mount to aluminum-top tools or MDF router table surfaces.

A featherboard applies lateral pressure to a workpiece passing through a saw or router, keeping it firmly against the fence. This improves cut consistency, reduces the risk of kickback by preventing the workpiece from moving away from the fence mid-cut, and keeps hands away from the blade.

The Magswitch Resaw Guide is a single-point fence reference for band saw resawing. Unlike a full-length fence, the point guide lets the operator steer the board slightly to follow the blade's natural drift while still maintaining a consistent cut thickness.
