One of its most useful features is the rack and pinion trunion system that allows the router to switch from Fixed Base to Plunge Router by just pressing a button. Another very convenient feature is the rapid height adjustment system that allows the plunge return spring to be quickly removed so you can mount the router in your table and use the 'above the table' micro adjuster. For enhanced safety, the automatic spindle lock will only engage when the power switch safety cover is closed.
