The Rip-Cut Panel Jig is the perfect tool for making long, continuous cuts down the length of sheet materials, while the Accu-Cut Circular Saw Guide is designed to cut across sheet goods - squarely or at an angle. Read on to find out how each of these accessories can turn your ordinary circular saw into a sheet good cutting powerhouse.

Kreg Rip-Cut Panel Sizing Jig (KMA2685)

Item 116-261

The Rip-Cut™ is an incredibly handy tool which speeds and simplifies the process of ripping down large plywood and MDF panels. No measuring, no marking, no chalk lines – the Rip-Cut™ quickly and easily attaches to almost any circular saw, letting you cut pieces from 1/8” up to 24” wide with tremendous accuracy. The Rip-Cut™ features a solid aluminum guide rail, an easy-to-read adjustable scale, and a reversible guide arm which works whether you’re left or right handed. The guide arm works whether your blade is on the left or right side of the saw.

Kreg Accu-Cut Circular Saw Guide (KMA2700)

Item 116-285

The Kreg Tool Accu-Cut can turn almost any left- or right-hand circular saw into a track saw capable of making perfectly straight cuts up to 48" long. With this jig you can make straight cuts across entire 4' x 8' sheet materials without a table saw. The aluminum track is held down to your material without clamps by way of the anti-slip guide strips. This device helps to prevent splintering thanks to the built-in anti-chip strips the support the material all the way through the cut.

the Kreg video showed a foam backer board for cutting. Is that a good idea for smooth cuts on both sides or is it just perchance that this video used it to cut on to show the product and it works. Never seen it before. I suppose it could get expensive if you so a lot of cutting unless you do repetive cuts with the same slot underneath. See more »

The ridged foam sheet in the video is being used simply to support the work piece and does not significantly help reduce tearout. with a handheld circular saw tearout is most likely to occur on the top surface of the workpiece because of the blade rotation. The track of the Accu-Cut does act like a zero clearance insert and will help to reduce tearout on the surface.

The Accu-Cut uses anti-slip strips on the bottom of the track and in most situations does not need to be clamped down.
