The Infinity Tools Rip Band Saw Blade: The Facts Speak For Themselves

We could make a pretty big fuss over the introduction of our Infinity Rip line of resaw bandsaw blades. Nobody would blame us for boasting about a tool that is manufactured so well that it's guaranteed against failure and performs better than any competitor on the market. We ought to pat ourselves on the back for sporting the best dollar-for-dollar value among other blades in their class.

But these are tools, and facts weigh more than fanfare. Infinity Rip Blades shine on their own without a greasy coat of advertising polish. So here are the facts:

Fact: These dedicated resaw blades are engineered to be twice as strong as ordinary bandsaw blades thanks to the carbon-manganese steel uni-blade structure

Fact: Our advanced tempering method ensures a weld so flawless that it is structurally indistinct from the rest of the blade

Fact: Infinity Rip Blades are thinner than any you've ever tried before

And we don't throw the word 'thin' around lightly. At just 0.022 inches, these dedicated resaw blades are 40% thinner than standard bandsaw blades. A thin resaw blade means less waste from each work piece, less strain on your bandsaw's motor, and more efficient cutting all around. When you're looking to make book matched panels or veneers, you can't get a more uniform cut than when you use an Infinity Rip Blade.

Our name is important, so we don't put it on a product that doesn't meet our exceptionally high standard of quality. Try one of our Infinity Rip Blades for yourself, and we think you'll agree that they couldn't be called anything less than an Infinity Cutting Tool.

Features Include:

  • 3-4 TPI variable pitch configuration eliminates harmonic variances that cause excessive noise and waver during a cut
  • The hardest teeth in the industry power through every wood species you throw at them
  • 0.022 inch thickness is 40% thinner than other blades for less waste and more efficient cutting

Uses in your shop:

  • A dedicated resaw blade for your bandsaw
  • Prepare wood for milling with less waste than traditional blades
  • Create beautiful book matched panels or uniformly sliced veneers

What makes a good resaw bandsaw blade? I'll tell you!

A blade that is manufactured so well that it's guaranteed against failure and performs better than any competitor on the market.

Our dedicated resaw blades are engineered to be twice as strong as ordinary bandsaw blades thanks to the carbon-manganese steel uniblade structure.

Our advanced tempering method ensures a weld so flawless that it is structurally indistinct from the rest of the blade.

Infinitiy Rip Blades are thinner than any you've ever tried before.

Let's take a look...

First, why are our blades yellow? They're not. Each blade is shipped with a protective paper covering to ensure that it's in the best shape possible when it arrives. Just another little touch we like to add.

Teeth are precision ground, sharpenend and tempered. Each tooth is hardened and tempered individually. Each blade includes a variable tooth pattern. There are sections of 3 teeth-per-inch and sections of 4 teeth-per-inch. This eliminates vibration and harmonics that effect cut quality. The blade body is made of spring steel and measures  just 0.022"-thick, these dedicated resaw blades are 40% thinner than standard bandsaw blades. A thin resaw blade means less waste from each work piece, and less strain on your bandsaw's motor

The blade is precision welded to provide a smooth back edge. It's also carefully spaced to avoid interference with the teeth and doesn't effect the temper of the surrounding band. We guarantee the blade against breakage at the weld for the life of the blade.

The proof is in the results, and since these are resaw blades, that sounds like a good test!

Thin, consistent cuts with smooth faces. That's a nice cut.

The next time you're book-matching a beautiful piece of spalted anything, think of Infinity Tool's Rip Bandsaw Blades for a perfect cut and impressive product.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a resaw bandsaw blade used for?

A resaw blade is built to slice thick stock along its width into thinner boards, veneers, or book-matched panels. The Infinity Rip is a dedicated resaw blade for exactly this work. See more band saw accessories.

How thick is the Infinity Rip blade?

It is just 0.022" thick, which is 40% thinner than standard bandsaw blades. The thin profile means less waste from each workpiece and less strain on your saw's motor.

What tooth configuration does it have?

The blade uses a 3-4 TPI variable pitch configuration, which eliminates harmonic variances that cause excessive noise and waver during a cut for smoother, cleaner results.

What is the blade made of?

It uses a carbon-manganese steel uni-blade structure that is engineered to be twice as strong as ordinary bandsaw blades, with some of the hardest teeth in the industry.

Why does a thinner blade matter for resawing?

A thinner blade removes less material with each cut, so you waste less wood—important when slicing expensive hardwoods—and it cuts more efficiently with a more uniform result for book-matched panels and veneers.

Is the weld on this blade a weak point?

No. An advanced tempering method produces a weld so flawless that it is structurally indistinct from the rest of the blade, helping the blade resist failure where ordinary blades tend to break.

Can this blade cut different wood species?

Yes. With some of the hardest teeth in the industry, the Infinity Rip is built to power through every wood species you throw at it. Explore complementary sawing tools.

Is this blade good for making veneers?

Absolutely. Its thin kerf and uniform cut make it ideal for slicing your own veneers and creating book-matched panels with consistent thickness.

Will a thinner blade strain my bandsaw less?

Yes. Because it removes less material per pass, the blade reduces strain on your bandsaw's motor and helps it cut more efficiently overall.
