The Infinity SuperNut Arbor Nut is a smarter, safer upgrade for table saws with a standard 5/8"–12 TPI Acme-threaded arbor, including SawStop and most full-size cabinet saws.
There is a right-handed as well as a left-handed thread option, made to fit many brands of table saws.
A Better One-Piece Arbor Nut Design
Traditional arbor nuts use a separate nut and flange—easy to drop inside the saw and often too bulky for wide dado stacks. When cutting dados, these parts can take up valuable arbor length, reducing thread engagement and compromising safety.
The SuperNut solves these issues with a compact, one-piece design that integrates the flange and nut as a single piece. There is nothing to lose, nothing to fumble, and you get full thread engagement even with wide dado sets. The thread extends through the entire nut/flange system. This is the smarter nut design!
Compact Profile, Maximum Clearance
Designed specifically for 5/8" Acme-threaded arbors, the SuperNut measures just 3/4" thick, providing added clearance under the throat plate. It works with your saw’s factory 1-1/16" hex wrench and allows a full dado stack to tilt to 45° at full blade height without contacting the throat plate.
Unlike two-piece unthreaded flange and threaded nut systems, here the threads extend through the entire sytem, ensuring a secure, confident hold on standard blades and full-width dado stacks alike.

Left-hand threaded arbor nuts are not common on modern table saws. The vast majority of table saws—whether cabinet, contractor, hybrid, or jobsite models—use standard right-hand threads on the arbor nut, even though the blade rotates in a way that continually tightens the nut during operation.

How to tell which you have if you're unsure
- Check the owner's manual.
- Look at the parts diagram—the arbor nut is often identified by its thread direction.
- If the arbor thread is visible, compare it to a standard bolt.
- Never force the nut. If it tightens when turned counterclockwise, it is likely a left-hand thread.
- The old adage: Lefty Loosey/Rightey Tighty applies. You're already used to removing your arbor nut when changing blades on your saw. If you spin to the right to tighten the nut you need a right-hand nut. BUT, if you spin to the left to tighten the nut then you need a left-hand nut.
