Each 40mm tall high speed steel knife is fully interchangeable, allowing for fast and safe profile changes. Using the included Allen key, simply loosen the single retaining bolt, slide out the gib, and swap in a new knife. The built-in alignment posts ensure that each knife seats correctly and automatically adjusts for consistent cutting height and accuracy—no tedious setup or measuring required.
The shaper head itself is precision-machined from solid aluminum and finished with a durable black coating to resist wear and corrosion, ensuring years of reliable performance in both hobbyist and professional shops. The standard 1-1/4" bore fits most larger shapers, and optional reducing bushings (sold separately) allow compatibility with smaller spindle sizes for added versatility.
