All of the benefits of zero-clearance inserts that you have come to love in your table saw are now available on your miter saw. Our anodized aluminum throat plate features replaceable inserts. The anodized aluminum throat plate replaces the plastic throat plate on your miter saw.

A zero-clearance insert helps support the wood fibers as the blade exits the workpiece. The result is a smooth cut without tearout and chipping. An additional benefit is that small cutoffs won't get trapped in the insert opening. Our inserts are also easily replaceable, so if you have multiple saw blades for your miter saw, each of them will benefit from a zero-clearance throat opening.
