Deulen Jointer Knives Shapening Jig

Use the Deulen Jointer Knife sharpener to put a razor sharp edge on jointer and planer knives. Lovingly made by hand in the great state of Washington, a total of sixteen (16) operations are required to make one Deulen Planer / Jointer knife sharpener. Two brass blade holders inset into the exotic hardwood handle to hold the blades securely and at perfect 45 degree angle. With a blade securely held in each track, you simply hold the handle and rub the blades against an abrasive surface. It doesn't get any easier than that and the results are fantastic and it even works with disposable knives!

We recommend the Deulen Lapping Plate, part # 100-263. This special lapping plate comes pre-loaded with six (6) different grits of sandpaper, from 120 to 400. We also sell replacement sandpaper packs for the lapping plate Part # 100-264.
