Magswitch Universal Featherboard PRO

The Magswitch Universal Featherboard PRO really ups the ante set forth by Magswitch's previous standard model—which was already pretty impressive. It still has all the features of the original, but adds key components dramatically improving its operation. The PRO model comes with a wider magnetic base giving it more holding power than the original, even when stretched over a miter slot. Each magnet is also accompanied by gaskets on either side. Engaging the mangets causes these gaskets to compress against the table surface, and the resulting friction further anchors the featherboard in place. Perhaps most exciting, however, are the independently adjustable smooth bump stops. Rotating the thumb screw located on either one moves the respective stop forward or backward. This action creates two separate secure reference points for the left and right sides of a cut, providing an excellent way to create perfect fitting crosscut slots and dadoes.

Magswitch Vertical Featherboard PRO

When cutting thin pieces it can often be difficult to prevent them from bending up through the cut and lifting off the table. The same issue exists for pieces that may be slightly warped, or just not pefectly flat. This effect creates the potential for kickback and poor quality cuts. The Magswitch Vertical Featherboard Pro solves this problem. Attach it to the center of ferrous Biesemeyer-style table saw fences and adjust the feathers vertically to match the height of the workpiece. It can be paired with a second Vertical Featherboard Pro for downward pressure on a work piece before and after the saw blade.
