Narex Profi Hollow-out Palm Chisel, 1 Sweep x 6mm

Narex has established the Profi line of chisels and hand tools for the wood carver who understands the importance of having high quality carving instruments at the ready. Forged from chromium-vanadium steel and heat treated to 59 HRc, this palm chisel has a stained European beech wood handle that has been shaped to fit snugly in the hand. The carver is able to use the heel of his hand to exert forward force while his fingers maintain a controlled grip closer toward the cutting edge, resulting in a higher level of control for carving shapes out of relief or sculptures.

With a perfectly flat #1 sweep and bent neck, this hollow-out palm chisel does its best work flatting out the bottom of projects that have been carved in relief.
