Question: What is the tolerances of the measurements?
Answer: I believe the tolerances are +-.001" with repeatability of +-.0005"
Question: is it possible to order just the digital readout portion as a replacement part?
Answer: Unfortunately, we do not have replacement parts available, only complete systems.
Question: What is the reach of the measuring tip beyond the base- how much does it overhang the base?
Answer: The tip is roughly 2-1/2" from the base.
Question: iGaging 6" Digital Height Gauge Item Number: DHG-001 Dos this have a hardened or carbide scribe tip?
Answer: the tip is a hardened and ground stainless steel.
