We have never found this to be a problem with our coping sled. If using a home made router table with limited reach a router bit collet extension would solve the problem. https://www.infinitytools.com/router-...
With the sled base thickness, will a plunge router bit extend enough for proper height in the workpiece? Trineo de afrontamiento Infinity Tools Pro
With the thickness of the sled base, it seems that the router bit in a plunge router will not extend up far enough to get proper height in the work piece. Is that a problem?

Answer: Both Infinity coping sleds are designed for a right to left feed direction and are not reversible.
