Does the 61-511 bit set create 1/4” tongue/grooves? I need to match old flooring and the site doesn’t specify bit sizes.
Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Floor Making Router Bit Sets
I'm looking at your 61-511 Floor Making Router Bit set w/nail slot. I need the tongue/groove to match my existing flooring in an 105 year old craftsman home. I have to cut down std 2.25" Bruce hardwood flooring to the width of my home's original flooring for repair work (2"). I mistakenly bought a set from Rockler assuming it would be a std size since the grooves/tongues on my 105 year old flooring match the new Bruce flooring perfectly. My rookie mistake. You do not specify on your website what the tongue/groove width your bits produce. Does this bit set produce 1/4" tongue/grooves? What depth are they?

Our 61-511 floor making bit set is made to meet NWFA standards, but we would not be able to guarantee that it will be a perfect match to your existing flooring. If the replacement flooring you have for repairs has a tongue that is an acceptable match to you existing floor, my recommendation would be to Modify the groove side as the groove will be easier to make to the necessary dimensions. If you can send us an email to customerservice@infinitytools.com with some dimensions and possibly a picture or two, I am sure we can help you find a solution.
