Absolutely you can use the 90-502 and either make your panel stock slightly thinner or adjust the raised panel bit to cut a little deeper. You can make the tongue portion of the panel to whatever thickness you need.
Can the 61-507 T&G set be used with the 90-502 raised panel bit for 5.5/5.9 mm plywood by adjusting the depth? Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Horizontal Raised Panel Router Bits
I am interested in the 90-502 raised panel bit with the 61-507 tongue and groove set. I know the 90-502 is designed to yield a true 1/4" tongue around the panel to fit into a 1/4" groove, but I'd like to get the 61-507 instead of the 61-502 to have versatility to use solid panel or 5.5/5.9 mm plywood. Will it work just to go slightly deeper with the 90-502 so that the 1/4" will narrow enough to fit into a 5.9mm groove?
