Your large 1/2" x 2" flush cutter runs max at 16K rpm. How can I ensure it’s not running too fast on my Dewalt DW618?
Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Mega Flush Trim Router Bits
I'm interested in your large 1/2" x2" flush cutter. Your specs say it should run no faster than 16K rpm. I would use it on a Dewalt DW618 which lists speeds of 8K to 24 K. There is no tachometer on it, how do I know how fast it is turning?

You should be able to set your router to your mid speed setting and be will within a reasonable speed to get started. From there you can always speed up or slow down the bit a little if needed.
