These bits are made to a very tight tolerance, the chances of the bit being out of tolerance are extremely small. Because this bit is quite large in diameter and tall it is important to insure that your collet are perfectly clean with no sawdust or other debris in it and that the bit is inserted properly and not bottomed out in the collet. Running the bit at proper RPM is also very important, We recommend starting at 16,000 RPM and making small speed adjustments if needed to best suit the material being routed.
