We typically recommend a minimum 2-1/4 hp variable speed router for use with the mega dado. We have used the 2-1/4 hp Triton with the Mega Dado extensively for slab flattening and it works perfectly.
Does this bit require a 31/2 hp motor? Or will my Bosch 1617evs motor be sufficient? Infinity Tools 1/4" Shank Dado Router Bit
