For the 52-506 we recommend a minimum 2-1/4 HP variable speed router. Because of the size of the router bit, variable speed is a must.
What's the minimum power rating for a router to use with the 52-506 Mega-Planer bit? Will my Bosch 1617EVS work? Infinity Tools 1/4" Shank Dado Router Bit
What is the minimum recommended power rating on a router to be used with the 52-506 Mega-Planer router bit? I am using a Bosch 1617EVS (12 AMP, 2.25 HP) and want to use this for leveling rough stock and slabs, but do not want to upgrade to a larger router.
