For the 1-1/2" Dado and Planer Router Bit I would recommend between 16k and 18k rpm depending on the the material being routed. For reference the pouch that each of our router bits comes packaged in has a chart on the back to help you choose the correct speed for best operation. Many of our larger bits will also have a MAX RPM engraved on the shank.
