How deep do the brass pilots go? Trying to rout a round over on some small holes that are not very deep.

The brass pilot itself is just under 1/4" long. If you have less than 1/4" below the portion you need to profile, the pilot length can be ground or filed down. A standard file or a belt sander will make quick work of the modification.
