The Triton router has the lift built in, and does not require an external lift. The Triton does come with a 3 year Manufacturers warranty and we have been using one here in our shop going on 5 years now without a hitch. If you decided to change routers, and insert plate of lift that fits a 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" (standard size) opening will fit our table perfectly.
