The stock grind should be 25* but anywhere from 25* to 30* should work just fine. Most of my planes get sharpened to 30* plus a micro bevel.
What is the proper blade angle for sharpening a jointer plane (item 101-632)? I’m happy with the jack plane I bought. Infinity Tools Wood Jointer Hand Plane
I bought a jointer plane (item 101-632) last year. What's the proper blade angle for sharpening? By the way, I also bought a jack plane and am thrilled with it.
