My son wants to add antennas to the butterfly on a bench project. Any tips for adding them after the fact?

Watched the video with my 5-year old. We'd like to make a bench for mom-- thought the butterfly would be a nice touch. At the end of the video my son said, Where are the antennas? Butterflies have antennas." Any suggestions on how to add antennas, after the fact?Darn smart kid.

My favorite method is to you a wood burning tool to make the thin antennae. This gives the ability to make the antennae any shape of size desired. Not to mention the black always seems to be the right color.
