The flange on the 115-322 fitting is 2-3/4". The large opening has a 2-1/2" OD, intended for 2-1/2" ID hoses. A standard "shop vac" 2-1/4" hose end will also fit into it's 2-5/16" ID.
Confused about hose fitting sizes. Need a 2 1/2 I.D. adapter, but product description is unclear. Can you confirm? Infinity Tools 2-3/4" Universal Adapter
I am confused, it says " 2-1/2" hose fits perfectly on large end." but then it says "O.D. of fitting behind flange is 2-1/2"." If that's the case then a 2 1/2 O.D. hose will not fit. I need an adapter with an 2 1/2 I.D. I am hoping the second part is just worded incorrectly considering the name of this product is 2 3/4" adapter which would actually fit a 2 1/2" hose.
