Why are offset mortise and tenon bits hard to find? I want a tool for making cabinet doors without chiseling corners.
Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank 3-Pc. Ultimate Glass Door Making Router Bit Set
Hello, I've reached out to you guys before about an offset mortise and tenon bits for making mission style glass doors. I see the shaker door making set, but I'm wondering why something like an offset mortise and tenon set up is so hard to find for making cabinet doors? Maybe I'm missing something. My normal routine is to use your mortise and tenon bit set and then rout the back of the door after it has been glued and then chisel out the corners to be square. A very time consuming process. I'd love to have something that does it all.

A Mission style glass door bit set would simply make a half lap joint at the corners. Because there is no profile to interlock and add glue surface the resulting joint would be very week and difficult to assemble. The method you are using to make your door currently will yield the strongest frame.
