My tools and vacuum are 220 volts. Is a contactor necessary for the system? If so, will it work on a 220V system?
iVac 8-Pc. Auto Dust Collection w/ Contactor
My tools and vacuum run on 220 volts. Is the contactor necessary for the system to work (I note you sell a 7 item package that does not include it) and if it is necessary will it run on a 220 volt system?

We recommend the contactor for use with any dust collector that draws more than 8 amps. usually 1 or 1.5HP. The contactor will work with any dust collectors up to 10 HP, 110, 220, and 220 3 phase. If you have a smaller dust collector and plan to upgrade in the future the contactor will future proof your system.
