Is a contactor necessary for your dust collector system? Can I connect 220V and 110V tools to turn the vacuum on/off?
iVac 8-Pc. Auto Dust Collection w/ Contactor
I see you offer your automatic dust collector gating system in a format that includes a "contactor" and one that does not. Is the contactor necessary to make the system operable? My vacuum and two of the three tools I would connect to it run on 220 volts. A band saw runs on 110. Can both be set up to turn the vacuum on and off automatically?

The amperage draw of your dust collectors motor is what determines if you need the contactor or not. We recommend going with the contactor if your dust collectors motor is more than 1 hp or so. The rest of the ivac system is universal and will work with both 110 and 220 volt machines.
